Unfortunately, its yet another too-good-to-be-true, bogus opportunity.Here are some of the key giveaways that youve found a scam like thisYou receive an unsolicited email out of the blue offering you money.The emails subject line is something like Regarding Your Application even though you dont remember applying.The offer is for any kind of government grant- this is an age-old, common scam used to target a variety of different people.The email says its a government program but the email address and links** do not lead to any government website, which should always end in .govThe email starts with Hi or Hello or another generic greeting and does not mention your name.The message contains typos, grammatical errors, and/or unusual usage of punctuation ().**Never click on the links or open attachments from any suspicious email. Instead, if you hover your mouse over a link, you should be able to see the real web address that the link will send you to, and whether it appears legitimate or not.
